The history of Ossetian brewing goes back to ancient times. According to legend, beer was given to Ossetians by higher powers, which is why it is so popular. Ossetians believe that beer symbolizes the juice of the earth giving life energy, strength, courage, abundance. Delicious Ossetian beer is an essential attribute of celebrations and traditional feasts. Beer, along with Ossetian pies, is revered and loved by all the inhabitants of Ossetia and far beyond its borders.
The oldest brewery in the republic "Darial" became a worthy heir to the ancient traditions of brewing. The history of the plant amounts to 145 years! It originates from one of the first breweries in Vladikavkaz, and actually in the whole Caucasus, of the Czech brothers Prochasko.
A century later, the Darial brewery was built on this base. The ancient Ossetian brewing traditions and the high standards of Czech brewing, laid down by the Prochasko brothers, were carefully preserved in the Soviet era at the then state-owned enterprise.
At the same time, the plant mastered the production of non-alcoholic products, which were in great demand among the inhabitants of the republic and neighboring regions. In the 1990s, the company managed to successfully compete with manufacturers of similar products on the open market thanks to the highest quality standard of its products. Now the plant is the leader of the brewing industry in the region.
We use exclusively NATURAL PRODUCTS: water that undergoes multi-stage purification, imported and Russian malt from the best producers, hops harvested from the best fields in Europe, unique yeast cultures that are delivered in special test tubes from Germany.

Maintaining the highest quality standards is the plant's strategic line of development. Following this line, the management of the enterprise started massive transformations in 2011. At the time of modernization commencement, the main technological equipment at the plant was outdated, which significantly limited the enterprise development and affected the quality indicators of products and the expansion of the product line. The principal position of the management not to save on quality determined the purchase of advanced equipment from well-known world manufacturers: GEA brewhouse equipment, a modern line for bottling beer into kegs of the German company KHS, filtration equipment from the American company Pall, a separator from the German company GEA WESTFALIA, a bottling line for beer and drinks of the Slovenian company VIPOLL. In June 2013, a CO2 collection and recovery station were put into operation, which allowed to improve the taste stability and increase the shelf life of beer. Another advantage of the innovation lies in the environmental benefits of the installation: carbon dioxide obtained during the main fermentation of beer is not emitted into the atmosphere, but is used in the form of commercial carbon dioxide for the preparation of soft drinks, as well as for the technological needs of production. In May 2015, the reconstruction of the shop for bottling beer and soft drinks into 0.5 l glass bottles was commissioned. The equipment for filling and washing bottles of the Italian company COMAC was installed. The fact that the re-equipment went on without stopping the main production can also be attributed to the unique aspects of modernization!
Now the process of brewing beer is fully automated, and the impact of the human factor on the final result is minimized. In addition to beer, the plant produces a wide range of carbonated drunks: Estragon, Bell-flower, Duchess, Lemon, Orange, Ripe Apple, Pear. The novelties of our assortment are very popular among the population - a group of juice-containing drinks designed for the tastes of the younger generation of consumers: Mojito-Apple, Grapefruit-Raspberry, Irish Cream, and Wild Berries iced tea.
The pride of our plant is a line of unique drinking waters. Mineral table water of the highest category "Aqua Darial" - natural drinking water, extracted from environmentally friendly sources, has unique properties. It does not undergo technical purification and does not lose the useful components that nature has endowed it with. Mineral drinking table water "Aqua Darial" has an excellent biochemical composition, which provides the body with the most necessary components and trace elements. A real innovative product is drinking water "Aqua Darial" saturated with iodine. This water contains a balanced natural composition of microelements, improves immunity and well-being, normalizes the functioning of the thyroid gland and can be used in the prevention of diseases associated with iodine deficiency.
All manufactured products, from the beginning of production to the final stage of bottling, are controlled by the factory laboratory center, the priority of which is the strictest quality control at each stage of the product life cycle – from incoming raw materials and all consumables to the release of finished products.
